Luni, 15 martie, au fost anunțate filmele nominalizate la cea de-a 93-a ediție a Premiilor Oscar. Și pentru prima dată în istorie un lungmetraj românesc se regăsește printre nominalizate.
Filmul lui Alexander Nanau, colectiv, a fost nominalizat atât la categoria Cel mai bun documentar, cât și pentru Cel mai bun film străin.
Cele mai multe nominalizări le-a primit Mank, regizat de David Fincher, care va concura alături de The Father, Judas and the Black Messiah, Minari, Nomadland, Promising Young Woman, Sound of Metal și The Trial of the Chicago 7 pentru Oscarul rezervat celui mai bun film.
Totodată, Netflix s-a apropiat de recordul deținut de studiourile United Artists din 1941 (45 de nominalizări) înregistrând 35 de nominalizări. În vreme ce Amazon a obținut 12 nominalizări.
Câștigătorii premiilor Oscar 2021 vor fi anunțați duminică, 25 aprilie.
