Astăzi, 11 decembrie, Asociația Presei Străine de la Hollywood (The Hollywood Foreign Press Association) a anunțat nominalizările pentru cea de-a 72-a ediție a premiilor Globurile de Aur, care se vor decerna pe 11 ianuarie 2015.
Cele mai multe nominalizări le-a primit Birdman (șapte), în vreme ce Boyhood (principalul favorit de până acum în acest sezon al premiilor) și The Imitation Game au obținut câte cinci.
Birdman a fost inclus în categoria ”cel mai bun musical sau comedie”, concurând, astfel, alături de The Grand Budapest Hotel, Into the Woods, St. Vincent și Pride.
Boyhood și The Imitation Game se află în categoria ”cel mai bun film – dramă”, unde au alături filmele Foxcatcher, Selma și The Theory of Everything.
În ce privește distribuitorii, Fox Searchlight a obținut nu mai puțin de 12 nominalizări, mulțumită unor filme precum Birdman și The Grand Budapest Hotel. Cu 10 nominalizări se află The Weinstein Co., datorită filmelor Imitation Game, Big Eyes și St. Vincent, în vreme ce Sony Pictures Classics și Fox au avut câte șase nominalizări fiecare.
