Câștigătorii celei de-a 75-a ediții a Globurilor de Aur au fost anunțați azi-noapte, pe 7 ianuarie. Așa cum era de așteptat, Lady Bird a câștigat premiul categoriei rezervată filmelor musical sau de comedie, însă marele câștigător al serii a fost Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, care a fost recompensat cu patru premii.
De asemenea, Lady Bird a mai obținut și un al doilea premiu, Saoirse Ronan câștigând pentru cea mai bună actriță într-un musical sau comedie.
Pentru cel mai bun regizor a fost premiat Guillermo del Toro (The Shape of Water), în vreme premiul pentru cel mai bun scenariu a revenit lui Martin McDonagh (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri).
Coco a confirmat încă o dată că este principalul candidat la Oscarul pentru cel mai bun film de animație, iar filmul lui Fatih Akin – Aus dem Nichts/In the Fade a câștigat categoria rezervată celui mai bun film străin.
